Amy Pereira is a corporate associate and member of the Capital Markets Group. Her practice focuses on securities laws, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Pereira is a frequent author on legal developments related to corporate governance and securities regulations. Her recent publications include “Choppy Waters: Navigating Board Diversity amid Changing DEI Sentiment,” Agenda (March, 2025); “Proxy Advisors and Institutional Shareholders Revise Voting Guidelines on Board Diversity,” Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance (March, 2025) and “Key Considerations for the 2025 Proxy Season,” Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance (January, 2025).
Ms. Pereira joined Debevoise in 2022. From 2019 to 2021, she was an attorney in the Equity Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions team of a leading law firm in Australia. Ms. Pereira received an LL.B. with Honors and a B.Com from Monash University in 2018.
Ms. Pereira is admitted to practice in Victoria (Australia) and is a member of the New York Bar.
