Suzanne Zakaria is an associate in the Litigation Department based in the Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense practice.Ms. Zakaria joined Debevoise in 2019. Between 2021 and 2024, she served as a law clerk to the Hon. Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and to the Hon. Andre Mathis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Zakaria received a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019, where she was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and a Global Law Scholar. She received a B.A. cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University’s Schreyer Honors College in 2014.
