Steven Slutzky is a corporate partner and Co-Head of the firm’s Capital Markets Group and a member of the firm’s Private Equity, Special Situations and Public Company Advisory Groups. His practice focuses on securities offerings and related transactions, and he regularly represents issuers and underwriters in securities transactions including initial public offerings, high-yield debt offerings, secondary equity offerings, debt offerings, tender offers and consent solicitations and private placements.

Mr. Slutzky was named Dealmaker of the Year by The American Lawyer (2014) for his role in advising Verizon on its $49 billion bond offering, the largest-ever corporate bond issue. Mr. Slutzky is also ranked as a leading capital markets lawyer in Chambers Global (2015–2024), which describes him as “very talented” and “practical,” and in Chambers USA (2015–2024), where clients note that he has “great subject matter expertise.
