Sarah Wolf is litigation Counsel in the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. Her practice focuses on sensitive and internal investigations, regulatory defense and compliance advice.Ms. Wolf advises corporates and individuals in a variety of industries including financial services, private equity, education, energy, and engineering. Her work pertains to allegations of bribery, securities and accounting fraud. As a complement to her regulatory work, Ms. Wolf conducts sensitive investigations for corporations, financial institutions, and universities. She also frequently collaborates with members of the firm’s Data Strategy & Security practice on issues surrounding artificial intelligence.Many of these representations are in federal courts, before state attorneys general, or involving regulatory agencies in the U.S. and internationally. She has extensive trial experience in federal court, and is admitted to the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the Western District of New York.A significant portion of Ms. Wolf’s practice is also devoted to regulatory counselling and compliance due diligence in corporate transactions. Ms. Wolf has particular experience working for Latin American clients and in Latin America jurisdictions. She speaks fluent Spanish. In addition to her significant experience representing and advising corporate and individual clients, Ms. Wolf also has experience representing indigent clients in Federal criminal court following a secondment with the Federal Defenders of New York, and she devotes a significant amount of time to the pro bono representation of indigent clients on death row across the country. She also serves on the Board of Getting Out & Staying Out, a non-profit organization that aims to reduce recidivism.Ms. Wolf previously clerked for the Hon. Kevin McNulty of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law Newark in 2008 where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. She received a B.A., cum laude, in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Ms. Wolf is a member of the Bars of New York and Connecticut.
