Sarah R. Jacobson is a corporate counsel and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Her practice focuses on advising corporate clients and private equity firms in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other significant corporate matters. She has been recognized as an “Associate to Watch” by Chambers USA (2023, 2022 and 2021), where clients have noted that she is “knowledgeable and diligent.”Ms. Jacobson joined Debevoise in 2020. Before joining the firm, Ms. Jacobson was a corporate associate at another leading law firm in New York. Ms. Jacobson received a J.D. magna cum laude from Fordham Law School in 2015, where she was a Mary Daly Scholar, a member of the Fordham Law Review, elected to the Order of the Coif and awarded the Alumni Association Medal in Constitutional Law. She received a B.S. from Boston University in 2006.Prior to law school, Ms. Jacobson held various editorial positions at ABC News and CBS Television Distribution.
