Sara Ewad is an associate in the London office and a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Group.

Ms. Ewad represents corporate clients and states on a range of contentious matters, including investor-state and commercial arbitrations, governed by various substantive national laws and public international law and conducted under major arbitral rules. She also represents clients in litigation proceedings at all levels of the Courts of England & Wales. Her experience spans a broad range of industries and sectors, including energy/natural resources, construction and private equity.

Ms. Ewad has an active public international law practice and assists with a number of the firm’s pro bono mandates. Her representations in this space include the International Legal Foundation, the International Bar Association, the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice and the Center for Reproductive Rights.

Ms. Ewad joined Debevoise as a trainee solicitor in 2018 and completed her training in the London office. She graduated from King’s College London with an LLB (Hons) in 2017 and subsequently completed the LPC at the University of Law.

She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2020.
