Nicole Marton is an associate in the Litigation Department.Her practice focuses on international arbitration, public international law and complex commercial litigation. She has experience in international commercial and investment arbitration under major arbitral rules, as well as in domestic litigation in various U.S. jurisdictions.Ms. Marton is co-author of “’Race’ to the Moon: The Future of International Space Law Disputes” The New York Law Journal (November, 2023) and, “Remote Sensing from Space: What Norms Govern?” Just Security (May, 2023).Ms. Marton joined Debevoise in 2020. She received her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2020, where she served as the senior notes editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, a student-attorney in the Health Justice Alliance Law Clinic, a Legal Research & Writing Fellow, a Human Rights Institute Associate, and Co-President of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice. Ms. Marton received her B.A. summa cum laude from Lipscomb University in 2016. Prior to law school, Ms. Marton served as a Fulbright Program grantee in the Republic of Moldova.Ms. Marton is a member of the Bar of the State of New York. She is admitted to practice before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
