Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announced today that it has signed a new ten-year lease extension to add nearly 16,000 square feet to its San Francisco office at 650 California Street, virtually doubling the firm’s current footprint in the city. Debevoise opened its San Francisco office in 2021, and has grown steadily due to strong client demand in the market. In the last year alone, Debevoise added three partners in San Francisco, including litigation partners Josh Cohen and Abe Tabaie and tech M&A partner Aly Love, along with the promotion of Joe Binder to partner in the Investment Management Group.
Presiding Partner Peter Furci said, “Our expansion in San Francisco is a reflection of the stellar team we’ve built, and their ability to serve the most innovative companies, venture capital firms and investors in the market. The expanded office space will provide even more opportunities for talent, collaboration and growth.”
