Michiko Wongso is an associate in the firm’s Data Strategy & Security Group.

Ms. Wongso’s practice focuses on data protection, data privacy and cyber risks, with experience advising companies on data protection matters, operational resilience, breach response, regulatory investigations and acting for entities in litigation arising from complex data protection and security matters.

Ms. Wongso joined Debevoise in 2024. Prior to joining Debevoise, Ms. Wongso trained and qualified at a large international law firm in London. She received an L.L.B. with first class honours from Durham University in 2019, and subsequently completed the LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management at The University of Law in 2020 (with distinction). 

Ms. Wongso was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2022. She is also fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
