Megan McGuiggan is an associate in the Litigation Department.
Ms. McGuiggan joined Debevoise in 2021. From 2020-2021, she clerked for the Hon. Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Before her clerkship, Ms. McGuiggan was a litigation associate at a major international law firm where she maintained an active pro bono practice, submitting an amicus curiae brief on behalf of legal scholars in a reproductive rights case before the Supreme Court.
Ms. McGuiggan received a J.D. summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers, executive articles editor of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal, recipient of the Max Koren Graduation Award, and served on the Buffalo Moot Court Board. While in law school, she completed an internship with the Hon. Richard C. Wesley of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She received a B.A. from the University of Delaware in 2013.
Ms. McGuiggan is a member of the New York State and District of Columbia bars.
