Marta V. Canneri is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Canneri joined Debevoise in 2022. Ms. Canneri received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2022, where she was co-editor-in-chief of the Harvard International Law Journal and received the John Gallup Laylin prize for best paper in the field of public international law. While at Harvard, she won both the national and global rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and was awarded the Stephen M. Schwebel Award for best oralist in the world championship round. Ms. Canneri received a B.A. with first class honors from McGill University in 2016.

Prior to law school, she worked as an associate editor at the Council on Foreign Relations. She is fluent in Italian.
