Louis Sanchez is a corporate associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Group and collaborates with the firm’s Data Strategy & Security practice group. He is a Latin@ member of the Firm’s Diversity Committee.

Mr. Sanchez has experience in supporting intellectual property and technology transactions and intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, including complex business carve-outs. He advises clients on matters related to intellectual property and technology transfer, licensing and protection, as well as data privacy and cybersecurity matters in transactions. He regularly represents a broad range of clients across the technology, financial services, telecommunications, private equity, entertainment, sports, healthcare, insurance and non-profit industries.

Mr. Sanchez joined Debevoise in 2020. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2020, where he was the managing editor of the Harvard Latinx Law Review and an editor of the Journal of Sports & Entertainment Law. He received a B.S. cum laude from Northeastern University in 2016.
