Lorena Rodriguez is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. Her practice focuses on white collar and internal investigations as well as sensitive investigations involving allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment. She represents corporations and individuals in criminal and regulatory enforcement matters. 

Ms. Rodriguez joined Debevoise in 2021. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2021, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a senior editor for the Columbia Law Review. During law school, Ms. Rodriguez interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and the Office of the New York State Attorney General. She received her B.A. cum laude from Amherst College in 2013. Ms. Rodriguez is the author of “All Data Is Not Credit Data: Closing the Gap Between the Fair Housing Act and Algorithmic Decisionmaking in the Lending Industry,” 120 Columbia Law Review 1843 (2020). 

Externally, Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the Women in the Legal Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association and a member of the Junior Leadership Board of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), an education nonprofit. She is fluent in Spanish.
