Lisa Wang Lachowicz is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the International Dispute Resolution Group.

Ms. Lachowicz’s practice focuses on international commercial and investor-state arbitration and public international law. She has represented sovereign States and companies in the energy, pharmaceutical, private equity, and construction industries. Ms. Lachowicz has experience arbitrating under the ICC, UNCITRAL, AAA-ICDR, and ICSID Arbitration Rules.

Ms. Lachowicz joined Debevoise in 2017. She received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2017 and an A.B. cum laude from Harvard University in 2014.

Ms. Lachowicz is the co-author of “12th ITA-IEL-ICC Joint Conference on International Energy Arbitration,” ICC Bulletin (May, 2024); “Standard of Proof in International Commercial Arbitration,” in F. Ferrari and F. Rosenfeld (eds.), Handbook of Evidence in International Commercial Arbitration: Key Issues and Concepts (2022) and the co-author of “War Manifestos,” 85 U. Chi. L. Rev. 1139 (2018). She is a recipient of the 2019 Above & Beyond Pro Bono Achievement Award from Sanctuary for Families and the 2018 Safe Haven Award from Immigration Equality.
