Lina Hamidou is a corporate associate based in London and a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Group.

Ms. Hamidou’s practice focuses on EU and UK competition law and regulation as well as foreign direct investment regimes. Ms. Hamidou has experience in obtaining clearance for concentrations before the European Commission and the French Competition Authority, as well as coordinating merger control and foreign direct investment approvals across multiple jurisdictions worldwide. She also has experience advising clients on behavioural investigations of alleged anticompetitive agreements.

Lina Hamidou joined Debevoise in 2024. Previously, she was an associate at a leading international law firm in Paris. Ms Hamidou graduated in 2019 from the University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne with a Bachelor in Law and Politics and a Master’s degree in International Law. She also holds an LL.M. in International Competition Law from the University of Glasgow where she graduated with honours in 2020.

Ms. Hamidou is a member of the Paris Bar. She is fluent in English and French.
