Leyla Salman is an associate in the Litigation Department.
Ms. Salman joined Debevoise in 2018. Her practice focuses primarily on white collar defense, government investigations, examinations, enforcement actions, and internal investigations for a wide variety of corporations and financial institutions. In particular, Ms. Salman focuses much of her practice on matters before the SEC. In addition, she maintains an active pro bono practice which includes representing indigent clients in federal criminal court.
She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2018, where she was a Cravath International Fellow and an executive editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2015.
Ms. Salman is a native German speaker.
