Kobie Allen is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Mr. Allen joined Debevoise in 2023. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from Rutgers Law School (Camden) in 2023, where he graduated as salutatorian. At Rutgers, Mr. Allen was an inaugural Rayman L. Solomon and an articles editor for the Rutgers University Law Review. He also worked at the Rutgers Law School Veteran’s Advocacy Clinic, where he successfully co-argued a discharge upgrade hearing before the Naval Discharge Review Board. Mr. Allen was also a member of the 2021-22 James Hunter III moot court program, where he and his partner made the semi-finals of oral arguments and earned the Best Plaintiff’s Brief Award. Mr. Allen also served as a writing fellow for Distinguished Professor of Law, Sarah E. Ricks. Mr. Allen received his B.A. from Williams College in 2017, and was a visiting scholar at the American University of Cairo in 2015 and 2016.

Mr. Allen interned for the Hon. Michael A. Shipp, U.S.D.J. at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
