Kathleen Emberger is a counsel based in the New York office and is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group. Her practice focuses on the employment and executive compensation-related aspects of public and private merger and acquisition transactions, including private equity transactions.

Ms. Emberger has extensive experience advising on employment, retention, change in control and severance agreements, as well as short and long-term incentive compensation arrangements, including equity and equity-based incentives, and representing clients on employment and executive compensation-related aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, for public company clients, Ms. Emberger has worked on a variety of SEC disclosure and governance matters related to benefits and compensation.

She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and her J.D. and her LL.M. in Comparative and International Law from Duke University School of Law in 1998.
