Julia Caldwell is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Commercial Litigation Group based in London.

Her practice focuses on complex multi-jurisdictional litigation, group actions and parent company liability disputes.

Ms. Caldwell has represented clients on a range of multi-party, high value commercial disputes. These have involved claims across sectors including the oil and gas, finance, insurance and energy sectors. 

Ms. Caldwell joined Debevoise in 2019 after completing a Master of Laws from New York University specialising in international business regulation, litigation and arbitration. She received a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington in 2012.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Ms. Caldwell practiced as an associate at a magic circle firm in London. 

Ms. Caldwell is qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand (2012) and England & Wales (2022).
