Jingyi Li is an international associate based in Shanghai. Ms. Li’s practice focuses on advising clients on various corporate matters. Ms. Li has extensive experience in private equity investment, cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, as well as initial public offerings and compliance with U.S. securities laws and regulations. Ms. Li has also worked a broad range of fund matters and real estate transactions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms. Li joined Debevoise in 2021 from a leading PRC law firm in Shanghai. Prior to that, she practiced at another leading international law firm in Hong Kong.

Ms. Li received her Master’s degree in Economics and Business from Sciences Po Paris and a Master’s degree in Law from University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Li also received a Bachelor of Laws degree from East China University of Political Science and Law. Ms. Li is admitted to the New York Bar, and passed the PRC National Judicial Examination in 2015.

Ms. Li’s native language is Mandarin and she is fluent in English.
