Jessica Szymeczek is a corporate associate and a member of the Banking Group.

Ms. Szymeczek joined Debevoise in 2022. Ms. Szymeczek received a J.D. magna cum laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2022, where she served as a research editor of the Hofstra Law Review. There, she was a Dean’s Honor Scholar and a recipient of the CALI Award in Lawyers’ Ethics. Ms. Szymeczek was a judicial intern for the Hon. Robert E. Grossman of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of New York. She received a B.A. magna cum laude from Binghamton University in 2019.  

Ms. Szymeczek is the author of Note, Caught in a Bad Romance: Human Trafficking’s Intimate Relationship with Legitimate Businesses, 49 HOFSTRA L. REV. 1125 (2021).
