Jane Tien is an associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Tien joined Debevoise in 2022. She received a J.D. and an LL.M. in international and comparative law magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 2022. She was a submissions editor of the American Journal of International Law and a staff editor of the Duke Law Journal. She received her B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2018. Ms. Tien's recent publications include "The Impact of the UNGPs on Courts and Judicial Mechanisms," Africa Update (2024). She is also the author of Fighting Words: Catalonia at the Language Instruction Crossroads, 32 Duke J. Comp. & Int’l L. 409 (2022)—for which she won the Phanor J. Eder Prize, awarded by the American Society of Comparative Law—and From the Vatican With Cash: Prosecuting Money Laundering In London Real Estate, 30 U. Miami Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 1 (2022).
