This client memo discusses last week's speech by the Director of the SEC's Division of Enforcement, Robert Khuzami, to the New York City Bar.  Mr. Khuzami's speech is noteworthy because he explained many of the changes that have occurred at the Division over the past few months and made it clear that his and the SEC’s objective with these changes is to usher in an era of more immediate, more efficient and more potent enforcement activity.
