Ilya Balabanovsky is a corporate associate and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Balabanovsky joined Debevoise in 2023. Mr. Balabanovsky received a J.D. from New York University in 2023 where he was a member of the Journal of Law and Business. He received a B.S. cum laude from New York University Stern School of Business in 2002. Previously, Mr. Balabanovsky headed Corporate Finance for an energy transition SPAC and was an energy analyst on multiple Institutional Investor-ranked equity research teams.
