Hilary Davidson is a professional support lawyer in the Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, and Private Fund Transactions Groups. 

Ms. Davidson has experience advising on the full spectrum of private and public M&A with particular experience advising private equity clients. This has included advising on joint ventures, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, secondary and co-invest transactions and corporate governance.

Ms. Davidson is responsible for overseeing and supporting knowledge management and thought leadership initiatives and for monitoring legal developments and market practice. 

Ms. Davidson joined Debevoise in 2015 and completed her training in the London and Hong Kong offices. She practiced as a senior associate in the London office until she transitioned to her current role in 2024. She received a B.A. (Hons) from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge in 2014 and completed the LPC at BPP Law School in 2015. 

Ms. Davidson was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2017.
