Hanson Z. Yu is a corporate associate and a member of the Finance Group.

Mr. Yu joined Debevoise in 2020. He received his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2020, where he was articles editor for the Cornell International Law Journal. He received two B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago in 2017.

Mr. Yu is the author of “Packing a Bigger Punch: California Strengthens Data Protection Law,” California Lawyers Association: Antitrust UCL and Privacy (July 2018).
