Evgenii Lebedev is an associate based in the London office and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group.

His practice focuses on securities matters and equity and debt capital markets transactions. Mr. Lebedev advises issuers in U.S.-registered and global equity offerings, high-yield, Eurobond and convertible bond offerings, equity buybacks and debt tender offers. He also has experience in multijurisdictional commercial litigation, fintech and general corporate matters.

Mr. Lebedev joined the firm in 2017. He is a co-author of “New FATF Guidance on Virtual Assets—What Should Banks Expect?,” International Banking Operations (December, 2019) and “Use of Electronic Bills of Lading in Practice of Foreign Trade Participants,” International Banking Operations (December, 2018).

Mr. Lebedev graduated with honours from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) with a master’s in private international and civil law in 2017.

Mr. Lebedev is qualified to practice Russian law and was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2024. A native Russian speaker, he is fluent in English.
