Eleonora Bonafede is a corporate associate based in the New York office and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and Private Fund Transactions Group. Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of clients in connection with a broad range of secondary transactions, including purchases and sales of portfolios of private funds interests, stapled primary and secondary transactions, GP-led liquidity processes, private tender offers, fund restructuring and fund financings and joint ventures. In addition, she has extensive experience representing clients in connection with primary investments and co-investments.

Ms. Bonafede joined Debevoise in 2022. Prior to joining Debevoise she worked as a private funds associate in the New York and London offices of an international law firm. She received her LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2018 and her J.D. magna cum laude from University of RomaTre in 2014. 

Ms. Bonafede is admitted to practice in New York.

She is fluent in Italian and French.
