Candice Jones is a corporate associate and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Ms. Jones joined Debevoise in 2021. Ms. Jones received her J.D. cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 2021, where she was a senior staff editor of the Howard Human & Civil Rights Law Review and a student attorney in the Investor Justice & Education Clinic. She received a M.A. from Liberty University in 2016 and a B.S. cum laude from Charleston Southern University in 2014.

Ms. Jones is the author of “A Broken Pattern: A Look at the Flawed Risk and Needs Assessment Tool of the First Step Act,” Howard Human & Civil Rights Law Review (Spring 2021). She is also a co-author of “Insider Trading Disclosure Update: Rulemaking Activity,” Harvard Forum on Corporate Governance (June, 2023).
