Andrew J. Silvia is a corporate associate and a member of the Investment Management Group.

Mr. Silvia joined Debevoise in 2021.  Prior to joining Debevoise, Mr. Silvia was an associate in the private investment funds group of a large multinational firm in New York. Mr. Silvia received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017, where he was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review.  He received his B.A. from Wake Forest University in 2011.  Prior to law school, Mr. Silvia worked at the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress.

Mr. Silvia is the author of “Madden v. Midland Funding LLC: Uprooting the National Bank Act’s Power of Preemption,” 92 Chi.-Kent L. Rev. no. 2 (2017).

Mr. Silvia is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
