Amanda D. Zakowich is the firm’s Deputy General Counsel. She re-joined Debevoise in that role in 2015. Ms. Zakowich first joined Debevoise in 2004 as a litigation associate, where her practice focused on white collar and regulatory defense, internal investigations and a range of complex commercial litigation. From 2009 to 2011, Ms. Zakowich was based in London where she continued her work on white collar and regulatory investigations and expanded her practice into advising clients on compliance matters, including anti-corruption. She returned to the New York office as a litigator from 2012 to 2013.

Ms. Zakowich received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2004, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Fordham Law Review. She obtained her B.A. cum laude with honors from Williams College.

Ms. Zakowich is a member of the Bars of New York and Connecticut.
