Almas Daud is a corporate partner based in the London office and a member of the firm’s Finance Group. Her practice focuses on advising borrowers, sponsors, funds and financial institutions on a wide range of financing transactions.

Ms. Daud has been named a Rising Star by IFLR1000 (2024), and is recommended in The Legal 500 UK (2025), where she has been described in previous editions as “outstanding,” “experienced and pragmatic.” She is said to provide “sensitive, risk-focused advice always with one eye to the bigger picture.” In previous editions of the guide, she receives praise for her “depth of knowledge and ability to simply get things done.” Clients also note her ability “to explain complex issues in a straight-forward manner and focus on the real issues, rather than the minutia.” She is noted by Chambers UK (2024) for her ability to act for sponsors and borrowers and for her strength on cross-border financings. Ms. Daud joined Debevoise in 2015. Ms. Daud received a B.A. from the University of Cambridge in 2009. She completed the LPC with distinction at Kaplan Law School in 2011. She received an M.A. (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge in 2013.
