Allison Perlin is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Perlin joined Debevoise in 2023. From 2022 to 2023, she clerked for the Hon. Judge Wendy Beetlestone of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. From 2020 to 2022, she was a University of Pennsylvania Law Review Fellow at Human Rights First. Ms. Perlin received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she was a Toll Public Interest Fellow, articles editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law, and awarded the Dean Jefferson B. Fordham Human Rights Award, as well as director of the International Human Rights Advocates and co-president and Next Generation Leader of the American Constitution Society student organizations. In 2020 she received a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Perlin worked at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Ms. Perlin received a B.A. with highest honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin.

Ms. Perlin is the co-author of “Use of Lethal Force by Law Enforcement Officials on Persons with Mental, Cognitive, and Developmental Disabilities.”
