Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Verizon Communications (NYSE, NASDAQ: VZ) in its $1 billion cash acquisition of wireless spectrum licenses in the cellular band, as well as select licenses for spectrum in the AWS and PCS bands, from United States Cellular Corporation (USCC) and certain of USCC’s subsidiaries.
