Ms. Weisgerber focuses on restructuring and distressed investment litigation and brings extensive experience advising clients and litigating issues in bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings, intercreditor and lender disputes, cross-border insolvency proceedings, and distressed situations across various industries. An active pro bono advocate, she has also been honored by The Legal Aid Society and the New York State Bar Association for her commitment to pro bono services. Ms. Weisgerber also serves as an editor-in-chief of the Debevoise Women’s Review.
Most recently, Ms. Weisgerber represented Blackstone Tactical Opportunities in winning dismissal of claims relating to the TriMark transaction and successfully defended another sponsor against similar claims in the Robertshaw bankruptcy. She also represented D.E. Shaw and Madison Dearborn in obtaining dismissal of a $250 million action seeking to claw back transfers made as part of a complex transaction involving sale of a renewable energy company.
