Debevoise & Plimpton LLP litigation partner Ina Popova has been recognized by Global Arbitration Review (GAR) in the third edition of its “45 Under 45” Guide, a list of the leading practitioners of international arbitration under the age of 45. Ms. Popova was selected for this honor from nearly 600 candidates worldwide and is one of only six US-based practitioners included in the list.
Ms. Popova joins Debevoise lawyers Catherine Amirfar and Mark W. Friedman, who are now co-chairs of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Group, and who were recognized in the prior editions of the guide. Ms. Amirfar, Mr. Friedman and Ms. Popova were also recently recognized as “Global Elite Thought Leaders” in the 2024 edition of Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration, a distinction for those regarded as the very best by peers and clients and awarded to the top 2% of practitioners worldwide.
Ms. Popova’s practice focuses on international arbitration, international litigation, and public international law. She sits as arbitrator and serves as counsel in a broad range of international matters. Fluent in several languages, Ms. Popova leads matters in English, Spanish and French. She is admitted to the bar in Paris and New York and is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
