GIR noted the firm’s role over the past year in representing Lafarge in its nearly $778 million resolution with the DOJ, advising Singaporean marine engineering business Keppel Offshore in its $65 million settlement with two Brazilian agencies, and Corsa Coal Corporation in its declination from U.S. and Canadian authorities over alleged bribes to a state-owned business in Egypt.
The firm was also shortlisted for the “Most Important Development of the Year” category and litigation partner and senior chair Mary Jo White was shortlisted for the “Investigations Professional of the Year” category.
