Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Pantheon in its indirect investment in Zenobe Energy Limited (“Zenobe”) alongside Infracapital Capital Partners (“ICP”).
The investment forms part of an additional £275 million investment by ICP-managed funds in Zenobe, which is taking place concurrently with a £570 million investment in Zenobe by KKR.
Following closing, KKR and ICP will have co-control of Zenobe.
Zenobe is a UK green energy infrastructure firm focusing on battery energy storage development. The additional capital from ICP, KKR and Pantheon will help Zenobe expand its operations in a number of markets.
The Debevoise team advising Pantheon is led by partner Geoffrey Burgess and includes associates Edoardo Troina and Aaron McPherson. Tax advice is being provided by international counsel Patrick Fasoro and associate Weichi Liu.
