Debevoise & Plimpton LLP restructuring partner Jasmine Ball and M&A partners Marilyn Lion and Sue Meng have been named to the “Top Women in Deal Making” list by The Deal.
The Top Women in Dealmaking award honors exemplary women in the legal profession who have been nominated by both their peers and The Deal’s team of researchers. The award identifies attorneys who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, restructuring and activist investing.
Ms. Ball’s practice focuses on representing debtors, investors, creditors and other parties in distressed mergers & acquisitions, workouts, debt and equity financing and refinancing, complex restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Ms. Lion’s practice focuses on corporate transactions in the insurance industry, including mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance and financing transactions, as well as insurance regulatory matters.
Ms. Meng’s practice focuses on advising public companies, boards of directors and special committees, and private equity firms in connection with mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and other significant corporate matters.
