Debevoise partner Edwin Northover and international counsel Tingting Wu have been named in China Business Law Journal’s (“CBLJ”) A-List.
The A-List recognizes the elite private practicing lawyers in China’s legal market. The final list is based on market nominations from more than ten thousand legal market participants, candidates’ own submitted supportive information, and independent research conducted by the editorial team.
Mr. Northover is Head of Financial Institutions in Asia at Debevoise. He has a broad cross-border public and private mergers & acquisitions practice, with a particular focus on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and distribution agreements in the insurance industry, as well as transactions in the PE and venture capital space.
Ms. Wu is an international counsel in Debevoise’s Shanghai office. She represents multinational companies and Chinese companies in a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, asset management, foreign direct investment in China, initial public offerings and compliance with U.S. securities laws and regulations. Ms. Wu has particular experience in representing multinational insurance companies.
