The publication’s annual list spotlights the top female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms. The criteria for selection is a combination of factors, including recent track record, prominence of the firm in Latin America, and recognition from third parties such as Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.

Ms. Popova sits as arbitrator and serves as counsel in a broad range of international matters and has particular experience in the energy, mining, and technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Ms. Popova speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian and regularly handles complex disputes arising out of Latin America. She also advises investment firms and asset managers in evaluating investments in international claims or arbitration awards.
