Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Helios Underwriting plc (“Helios”) in raising approximately £12.5 million through a placing of, and a subscription for, an aggregate of 8,043,927 New Ordinary Shares at a price of £1.56 per share.

Helios is a unique investment vehicle which acquires and consolidates underwriting capacity at Lloyd's and the proceeds of the placing will be used to assist in funding of the necessary underwriting capital for the 2023 underwriting year and for acquiring such capacity.
