Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG), as majority owner of Syniverse, in raising $1.025 billion in new term loan debt and $340 million in new preferred equity in connection with the closing of Syniverse’s previously announced strategic partnership with Twilio (NYSE:TWLO), in which Twilio has invested $750 million for common equity in Syniverse.
