Debevoise Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Receives Top Rankings from World Trademark Review 1000

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice has once again ranked in the gold band for the United States and New York in the World Trademark Review’s WTR 1000 – an annual guide that identifies the top trademark professionals in key jurisdictions. The 2022 edition recognized the firm for providing “the best possible legal advice and cutting-edge thinking on IP” for its clients. It also recognized three partners for their outstanding capabilities:

David Bernstein, chair of the practice, is ranked in the gold band and described as “hands-down the best trademark litigator in the country” and “a thoughtful strategic adviser and representative whose mastery of the law is evident in everything he says.” WTR also recognizes Mr. Bernstein for his precedent-setting trademark win on behalf of Booking.com, which was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Megan Bannigan, ranked in the silver band, is described as “an unquestionable star and a resilient lawyer who takes bet-the-farm cases in her stride” and recognized for “being brilliant on the technical, tactical and service aspects of her role.”

Jeremy Feigelson, ranked in the bronze band, is described as “extremely intelligent adviser” and a “seasoned trademark litigator and cybersecurity and privacy lawyer.”
