Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Toyota Motor Corporation as an investor in Uber Technologies Inc.’s (NYSE: UBER) self driving unit, Advanced Technologies Group (Uber ATG), which Uber has agreed to sell to Aurora. For more information, please see the company’s press release.
Debevoise previously represented Toyota on its joint investment with DENSO Corporation and SoftBank Vision Fund in Uber ATG. Under the terms of that deal, Toyota and DENSO together invested $667 million and the SoftBank Vision Fund invested $333 million, valuing Uber ATG at $7.25 billion on a post-money basis.
