Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising pro bono client City to Sea, an award winning campaign group, on a corporate restructuring and the expansion of the City to Sea brand.
City to Sea aims to stop plastic pollution around the world by providing practical solutions. As part of that work, the team has recently relaunched its Refill App, which directs users to refill stations across the UK where users can refill their reusable bottles for free.
City to Sea is aiming to reduce the 700,000 bottles littered daily in the UK by enabling users to refill instead of resigning plastic bottles to the landfill.
The relaunch of the Refill App includes new features to direct users to places to eat, shop and drink without pointless or excessive packaging.
Further information on the Refill App can be found here.
You can download on the Refill App from the App Store here.
The Debevoise team advising City to Sea on a pro bono basis is led by international counsel Vera Losonci, and included associate Laurence Hanesworth, alongside several other members of the firm’s London office.
