Debevoise & Plimpton LLP international dispute resolution lawyers Ina Popova and Duncan Pickard have contributed the U.S. Country Report chapter in Wolters Kluwer’s newly released Due Process as a Limit to Discretion in International Commercial Arbitration.
In the book, Ms. Popova and Mr. Pickard explore relevant case law on due process as a limit to discretion in arbitration, and how courts in major U.S. jurisdictions apply due process guarantees when performing their post-award review.
Ms. Popova is a partner in the international dispute resolution group and is admitted to practice in Paris and New York. She has served as counsel in a range of international matters before major arbitral forums and national courts and is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce’s International Court of Arbitration. Mr. Pickard is an associate in the international dispute resolution group and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of International Crisis Group’s Ambassador Council.
