Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Samantha Rowe, a member of the firm's International Dispute Resolution Group in London, has been appointed to the Executive Board of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) Young & International (Y&I) group.
Ms. Rowe’s practice focuses on international arbitration and public international law. She has represented private clients and States across multiple jurisdictions (most notably, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe) in arbitrations governed by various substantive laws and conducted under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL and SIAC. She has experience across a broad range of industries and sectors, including energy, mining, construction, financial services and pharmaceuticals.
Since its launch in 2014, ICDR has become a preeminent group for young arbitration practitioners, academics and government lawyers, to meet, exchange ideas and learn from peers and more senior ADR practitioners. As a result of the number events and initiatives Y&I have hosted throughout the world, they have made important contributions to the field of arbitration.
