Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Toyota Motor Corporation on its joint investment with DENSO Corporation and SoftBank Vision Fund in Uber’s Advanced Technologies Group. The investment, in a newly formed Uber ATG entity, aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of automated ridesharing services.
Under the terms of the deal, Toyota and DENSO will together invest $667 million and the SoftBank Vision Fund will invest $333 million, valuing Uber ATG at $7.25 billion on a post-money basis.
