Debevoise & Plimpton partner Susan Raegan Gittes will moderate a discussion on diversity and inclusion at the Association of Life Insurance Counsel’s General Counsel event. This session, organized by Debevoise partner Marilyn A. Lion, aims to address the successes and challenges of building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment in legal departments across the life insurance industry.

Ms. Gittes is a litigation partner whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and regulatory inquiries. She has significant experience in federal and state courts, with a focus on representing insurance companies in a broad range of litigation and regulatory matters. Ms. Lion is a member of the Corporate Department and the Financial Institutions Group. She focuses on corporate transactions in the insurance industry, including mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, as well as insurance and reinsurance regulatory matters. She is also the Chairperson of the New York State Bar Associate Insurance Law Committee.
